Terms & Conditions of Participation

iTTi Harvard Immersion

These Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the purchase of event participation and attendance at the iTTi Harvard Immersion organized by the International TEFL Training Institute (iTTi). By registering for the event, you agree to the following:

1. Registration & Payment

  • 1.1 A seat is confirmed only after full payment or receipt of an approved deposit.
  • 1.2 All fees must be paid by the deadline stated on the invoice or registration page.
  • 1.3 Prices listed are per participant and may be subject to applicable taxes or processing fees.
  • 1.4 Participants are responsible for ensuring that all personal information provided during registration is accurate.

2. Cancellation, Refunds & Credits

  • 2.1 Participant-Initiated Cancellations
  • 2.2 No-Show Policy: Participants who do not attend the event and did not cancel in advance are not eligible for refunds or credits.
  • 2.3 Event Organizer Cancellations: If iTTi cancels or postpones the event for any reason, participants may:
    • transfer their registration to the rescheduled date, or
    • request a full credit or refund of the amount paid.
    iTTi is not responsible for travel, accommodation, or visa expenses.

3. Visa Support

  • 3.1 Participants requiring a visa may request an Enrollment Confirmation Letter after payment is received.
  • 3.2 The issuance of visa support does not guarantee visa approval.
  • 3.3 Visa denial is not grounds for a refund; participants may attend via an online medium.

4. Travel, Accommodation & Insurance

  • 4.1 Participants are responsible for arranging travel, lodging, meals, and any necessary insurance.
  • 4.2 iTTi is not liable for travel delays, cancellations, lost luggage, or personal expenses.
  • 4.3 Participants are encouraged to obtain travel insurance.

5. Program Changes

  • 5.1 iTTi reserves the right to modify schedule, speakers, location, or program content if necessary.
  • 5.2 Such changes do not entitle participants to refunds unless the entire event is cancelled.

6. Participant Conduct

  • 6.1 Participants are expected to behave professionally and respectfully throughout the event.
  • 6.2 iTTi may remove any participant whose behavior is disruptive or unsafe. No refund will be issued.

7. Use of Likeness (Photos & Videos)

  • 7.1 By attending the event, participants consent to be photographed or filmed.
  • 7.2 iTTi may use event photos or video materials for educational and promotional purposes.
  • 7.3 Participants wishing to opt out must inform organizers in writing before the event begins.

8. Certificates & Post-Event Materials

  • 8.1 Participants who complete the full program will receive the iTTi Harvard Edition Certificate, ID card, and any applicable professional development documentation in digital form.
  • 8.2 Slides, handouts, and supplementary materials will be provided after the event unless stated otherwise.
  • 8.3 Post-event materials are intended for personal and professional use only and may not be redistributed without permission.

9. Intellectual Property

  • 9.1 All content, slides, books, videos, workbooks, and training materials remain the intellectual property of iTTi or its licensed authors.
  • 9.2 Participants may not copy, share, or reproduce materials without written authorization.

10. Limitation of Liability

  • 10.1 By registering, participants agree that iTTi is not liable for personal injury, illness, property loss, travel delays, cancellations, or venue restrictions.
  • 10.2 Participation is voluntary; attendees assume full responsibility for safety and belongings.

11. Force Majeure

iTTi is not liable for event disruption caused by circumstances beyond its control, including natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, travel restrictions, or government regulations. In such cases, the event may be postponed or moved online.

12. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA.
