    Certification & License

    All participants will receive an international certificate of participation, and will begin the process to obtain their TEFL/TESOL license, based on the photo and information submitted during the event. This certificate can strengthen your résumé and open doors to global teaching opportunities.

    What is the TEFL/TESOL Student ID?

    As a participant in our official certification event, you will receive a personalized TEFL/TESOL Student ID Card. This card serves as a proof of your enrollment and participation in an internationally recognized teacher training program.

    To create your ID, please upload the following when registering:

  • A 3×4 photo (passport-style)
  • A clear photo of your signature on white paper

    Your ID will be issued along with your TEFL/TESOL License and will be handed to you during the event.
    This identification is a valuable document to include in your international teaching portfolio!

    Most frequent questions and answers

    That depends on your nationality. Most attendees will need a tourist visa (B1/B2). We recommend checking the U.S. Embassy website in your country and applying as soon as possible.

    Meals are not included, but there will be breaks during the day and several food options available nearby. We’ll also offer tips on great places to eat around the venue.

    The event itself does not include tours, but we’ll share recommendations for must-see places around Boston. Some attendees also plan informal meetups and sightseeing groups!

    Participants should have an intermediate to advanced level of English (B2 or higher) and be passionate about education. No previous teaching experience is required.
