The SAT is an entrance exam used by most U.S. colleges and universities to make admissions decisions. The exam is a multiple-choice, pencil-and-paper test created and administered by the College Board.

The purpose of the SAT is to not only measure a high school student’s readiness for college but also to provide colleges with one common test tool that allows them to compare all applicants. Apart from the test scores, College admissions officers will also check the high school GPA, the classes you took in high school, letters of recommendation from teachers or mentors, extracurricular activities, admission interviews, and personal essays.

How important SAT scores are in the college application process varies from school to school. Overall, the higher you score on the SAT, the more options for attending and paying for college will be available to you. If your score is remarkably high, college in the U.S. may be free of charge for you.

SAT Trainers help students prepare for SAT tests by completing the following duties: developing personalized SAT study plans, providing preparation materials, monitoring student progress, identifying students strengths and weaknesses, recommending study habits, and mentoring new tutoring staff.
